In tandem with National Preparedness Month, our program on September 29th will focus on what your business can do to build resilience - register now! Hosted by Schafer Corporation in Washington, DC, this program will provide you with expert insight in the areas of physical and cyber resilience and how to prepare your personnel, physical assets, and IT enterprise for the unexpected. Our distinguished and knowledgeable slate of speakers includes: Ms. Kiersten Todt is the Executive Director of the Presidential Commission on Enhancing National Security, with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). She is an expert on preparedness in the cyber realm. Prior to joining the NIST in March 2016, Ms. Todt was President and Managing Partner of Liberty Group Ventures, LLC (LGV), where she developed risk and crisis management solutions for cybersecurity, infrastructure, homeland security, emergency management, and higher education clients in the public, private, and non-profit sectors. Ms. Todt has extensive experience in crisis management consulting and has served in senior positions in both the executive and legislative branches of government. Ms. Todt graduated from Princeton University, with a degree in public policy from The Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs. She holds a master’s degree in Public Policy from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. Mr. Erik Gaull (CEM, CPP, CBCP, PMP, MEP) is the Director, Public Safety and Emergency Management Programs at Applied Research Associates (ARA). Mr. Gaull has earned FEMA’s Master Exercise Practitioner, Professional Continuity Practitioner, Advanced Professional Series, and Professional Development Series recognitions (continue reading here). He is a paramedic, fire officer, and fire instructor. Erik is currently a lieutenant in both the DC Police Department Reserve Division and the Cabin John Park VFD. He has a Master of Public Policy and an MBA from Georgetown. Additionally, he serves as InfraGardNCR's Sector Chief for the Emergency Services Sector.
